“Socrates and me”

Once upon a time-Socrates was sitting outside of the gates of Athens. A man came up to him and said, "I am thinking about moving into Athens. Can you please tell me what it is like to live here?" Socrates replied, "I would be happy to tell you, but first would you please tell me what it was like in your previous home city?"

The man roared, "Oh, it was awful. The people stab you in the back and rob you blind. I am leaving only enemies". Socrates frowned and continued, "Well, you best be on your way because you will find the same thing here in Athens".

Later another man stopped and inquired with Socrates, "I was considering moving here to Athens. Can you tell me what it is like to live here?" Socrates asked visitor: "First tell me, what it was like in your previous home city?" The man smiled and said, "Where I come from the people all work together and help each other. Kindness is everywhere and you are never treated with anything but the utmost respect". "Welcome to Athens", smiled Socrates, "You will find the same thing here".

World is our thinking. It is similar to the mirror which is the reflection of the image inside us. Optimisms would result in positivity whereas negative thinking outlooks would be bleak.

The person who approached first to Socrates had negative trait in his mind. The second person had only good things to say about his city. Everything inside us is the reflection similar to the water in lake.

It is reflection of our personal emanations. One who understands and learns to live life with it has no other person to be blame. The world which is physical and materialistic is our inner projection of our belief which we mainly call it as reality. As we think we become, one has to be honest with him first to see honesty in others. The first lesion of living a life is to become the king of own life by taking charge of our actions.

It could be thoughts, beliefs, feelings, habit and many more things. The man, who thinks, he is worth little, will receive little. With the passage of time, everything we think has some impact on our actions like talking, walking and acting. We are the product of our own thinking.

A fresh start of any good thing is result of fresh start of one self. Until and unless we learn how to explore our inner self how can we think of the victory. Think what if I rule my inner instincts to lead myself and become the master of your own thinking.
